    Comprehensive Salivary Hormone Panel: $198

The Comprehensive Hormone Panel is the starting point for initial assessment of hormonal status and endocrine function and includes estradiol (E2), progesterone, testosterone, DHEA and four cortisols. This panel is useful with male and female patients because it looks at the full diurnal cortisol pattern; it is especially important in patients who are experiencing the following symptoms in addition to the symptoms listed for the Basic Hormone Panel:

    • Weight gain
    • Multiple chemical sensitivity
    • High blood sugar
    • Elevated lipids (cholesterol and/or triglycerides)
    • Insomnia
    • Chronic fatigue
    • Fibromyalgia

    Dutch Hormone Test: $280

We use the leading urinary-based testing and research lab in the U.S. to measure hormones through Precision Analytical.  Dutch testing eliminates the need for urine and saliva tests so it can all be done in one test.  Clients collect just four or five dried urine samples over a 24-hour period. Dried samples are stable for several weeks making them convenient to ship worldwide.

Here is how the Dutch test is better for hormone testing over another testing:

    • Salvia testing alone misses the piece of surveying a patient’s HPA-Axis function by not measuring cortisol metabolites.
    • Serum testing: Adrenal hormones can’t be effectively tested in serum because free cortisol can’t be ascertained because free cortisol can’t be tested throughout the day.  There is also a lack of extensive metabolite testing (especially for cortisol and estrogens)
    • 24 hr urine testing It is hard for many people to collect and as many as 40% do so incorrectly.  In addition,  dysfunction in the diurnal pattern of cortisol can’t be ascertained from a 24-hour collection. Some providers try to add saliva testing for daily free cortisol, but the DUTCH test eliminates the need for 2 tests.

    Comprehensive Stool Analysis: $245

The Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parasitology x1, 2, or 3 is an invaluable non-invasive diagnostic assessment that permits practitioners to objectively evaluate the status of beneficial and imbalanced commensal bacteria, pathogenic bacteria, yeast/fungus, and parasites. Precise identification of pathogenic species and susceptibility testing greatly facilitates the selection of the most appropriate pharmaceutical or natural treatment agents.

Cornerstones of good health include proper digestion of food, assimilation of nutrients, exclusion of pathogens, and timely elimination of waste. To obtain benefits from food that is consumed, nutrients must be appropriately digested and then efficiently absorbed into the portal circulation. Microbes, larger-sized particles of fiber, and undigested foodstuffs should remain within the intestinal lumen. Poor digestion and malabsorption of vital nutrients can contribute to degenerative diseases, compromised immune status, and nutritional deficiencies.

This test is great for anyone suffering from digestive issues, IBS, or IBD or concerned about parasites

    MTHFR.Testing: $105

The MTHFR (methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase) gene produces an enzyme involved in the processing of folate and regulation of homocysteine in the body. It is believed that over 40% of the population has this mutated gene, which keeps you from properly absorbing B vitamins.  (25% of the Hispanic descent populations and 10-15% of North American Caucasians) Folate is a critical nutrient involved in methylation, DNA synthesis, and amino acid metabolism. Impaired folate metabolism due to MTHFR enzyme inactivity or a low folate level results in elevated plasma homocysteine. Homocysteine is an amino acid synthesized by the body through the demethylation of methionine. In the presence of adequate B-vitamins, homocysteine is either irreversibly degraded to cysteine or it is remethylated back to methionine, an essential amino acid. An elevated homocysteine level is known to be an independent risk factor for ischemic stroke, thrombotic and cardiovascular diseases. Folate, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 are all necessary molecules for the proper conversion of homocysteine into methionine. A deficiency in any one of these molecules can cause homocysteine levels to rise.

    Micronutrient (blood): $350

This test evaluates how 31 different vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants work within a person’s cells. But it goes even further—The MNT will tell how well cells can withstand oxidative stress, how well cells are metabolizing carbohydrates and how adeptly cells function when launching an immune response.

With these results, we can customize a nutrition and supplement plan specifically for your unique biochemistry.

The micronutrient test checks for deficiencies in the following:

    Vitamins

    • Vitamin A
    • Vitamin B1
    • Vitamin B2
